Size product image

Hy dear,
i'd like to know if is possible to set only for one image custom size.
I have set in the Configuratione --> Images & video the size for the images and it work good.
Forn one or more produtct, when i insert and configure it, i'd like to set in Image --> Size preview and Full size image a custom size.
When i do it and "save and close" the custom size not have any difference.
So i edit the product and i see that the selection is not su custom size but is on default and does not keep the size that i have select.
Can You help me please and sorry for my "Italian English"

Hy I tried but it does not work as I would like.
Try to explain my problem.
In Configuration (image/video) i set product thumbnail width/height and product image width/height that are good for several product in different category.

Now i create a new category with other product and i want another image configuration.
So i select, when i am in this new product of a new category, the function image and i put the radio button in thumbnail sizes and in Sizes of the full image on "other" and i enter new width/height because for this product i don't want the default configuration (you can see the image.jpg).
When i click save the front end not change so i go back tho the product and in section image the radio is returned on "By configuration".
Why can i not select for one or more product the function Other dimension?
Can yuo help me?

Now i understand where i was worng thanks very much.
I have another problem that i don't understand how to solve.
I have a category only with text and two subcategories with title and image but not remain side by side like product (yuo can see the image-->category-wit-subcategories.jpg).
I'd like side by side like image article (article-side-by-side.png).

I'm sorry i had selected amount of categories in row 1 and not remember.
Thanks a lot now the categories are side by side.
The title of the category however non center from image (see the jpg).
Can i do something?(i send image because is a local site not published yet)
