Directing from Paypal Page to Download Page or Download Email

After upgrading all works more or less well.

We have downloadable products. The payment process works right though to paypal and back quite fine. In the previous version, the customer received a email with a download link. Now, there is no email with a download link and we get directed to the 'finish page'.

The order management system shows 'not finished' and 'pending'. We don't mind a download email or a download link.

What are we configuring incorrectly?

If this is in the wrong section, I apologize. This worked fine in the previous version, that is why I think this is a configuration issue.

Now, does not matter what I do, I do not get to a download email or link for a downloadable product. The Paypal transaction works perfectly, but the customer does not get the ability to download their product.

We fixed this. It turned out to be a finger problem with the email address.
