Manually entering download filename

Since my site (and php) limits file uploads to 2Mb I want to link to a file I uploaded manually. How can I enter a filename in the 'File for sale' field manually?

Thank you but...
With my hosting service I have no access to change the ini file and i also expect that there are other settings in Apache that limit uploads to the 2Mb default also.
The only other thought I had would be to do an export/import to overide this manually but thats a lot of hard work when (in theory) I could just enter the filename - if it allowed me to.
