One Product - but different Kind of Products

Hi,
that daoes not mean the attributes, i know them.

Here i want to sell a CD with one Song.
1. The user can buy the Product, we have to send by delivery.
but
2. we have a mp3, the user can download after purchase.

Is it possible in ONE Product? If yes, how - or do i need an extra plugin?
Or last chance 2 Products?

Idea, how to make it?

Hi again,
i tested some ideas.
First i have the basic product - type a, price a ... fine.

Then i added 2 attributes in the attribute manager and added in the product itself the attribute a with price a and attribute b with price b. so far so good.
in frontend ich have a pulldown menu where i can use type a or type b.
but the price did not change. so, does not work.
so deleting all attributes.

then 2. idea, to habe no price in the base product, but i needs a price.
ok, then is the base product ready and i added only one attribute, type b with price b.
in frontand i only have a pulldown with type b and i can see only price b ... the base-product infos are ignored ...

so ... that does also not work.
But - at least - if the price will change and the user can order - if type a, we have so tand a package - and if type b it is only a download ... is THAT to realize?

any other idea - instead of setting up one product for cd and a second product as mp3???

Hi,

update - also question: i took one product only as mp3 download.

in frontend i ordered (without registration) ... walked trough the shop, ...
In Backend i changed the order status manually, with info to customert. Works, fine. Got the e-mail with that info.
But nit the file or a link.

in the faq i found, that the download link only will shown in a view like the order basket.

so my question: is download not possible, if the user buys it without registration???
