Hello,
I set up 3 different tax configuration for local VAT, European VAT and extraEU vat. When customer select his country it should appear the correspondent applied tax but instead only one of the configured taxes apply to all. So, even though this costumer would not pay VAT the system charges him.
What do I have to do ?

invoice problem

Hi,
regarding invoicing I desabled the option to attach the immediate PDF invoice to customers. I would like to receive confirmation of payment from bank and then send invoice. As I made a new order (trial) I did receive the email with order summary without PDF, but on the other side I could not send PDF anymore except doing it manually. Is there a way to set it up with a delay ?

another big problem is with invoicing abroad: if I sell to a German company on the invoice must be written "VAT exempt by EU law art...." as well as I sell to an American company on the invoice must be written another law article. So, the system should recognise the country and automatically select the right law article and the right VAT application. Is there a way to set up invoicing for this purpose?
If not do you have any advice ?

The (company ) costumer for example from germany see no taxes ONLY if he is logged in (+ right configuration).

It works, try it again, do not give up.

For example extended rule tax:


If your shop is in for example Italia you can sell products to germany (companies) with 0% tax (company orders EU to EU). In Joomshopping there are no tax display if the tax is "0".

that's right !
I would sell to EU companies with 0 VAT .... different matter for private that would pay italian VAT
I set up 0 tax for EU companies as well for extra EU (it's export no VAT)
where do I mistake ?
maybe the trial should be done direcly from abroad instead I pretend to make fro there ?

if you are testing different countries, you must change your country in your account and you know, you must logged in. Maybe you must delete the browser cache before new tests.

well, I treid with different PC setting a german company with VAT number ...
the system charges VAT and it shouldn't.
I set up 0 on taxes (both) ... what's there to do more then this ?

even changing the country on my account, after cleaning cache, the VAT is charged.
The delivery price works though, it recognise the selected country for delivery and price is applied. I created groups as I did for TAX.
There must be something wrong with tax rules. I mean, when I create a new rule I have the opportunity to set up that rule into an existing group like a subcategory but doesn't work as I tried few minites ago.
It's a real puzzle and I'm getting bored because I have to start business next wednesday.

I understood is like a subcategory and solved the problem !!!!

ok for invoicing that way, that's to say placing both law articles together. But I was wondering if in the VAT field is possible to insert the symbol * ... that would tied up the specific concerning.
