Problem when changing adress as non-registered user

Hello friends,

I have a problem.

I want to order smth. as non registered user without registration.

So I enter my adress, email and so on, got to all the steps and short before placing the order I need to change my E-Mail Adress/adress and so on.

So I go back to the Adress-Tab and want to change my EMail adress/name etc. But that is not working. I always get the message that the email adress is already been used or Error Code 42.

If I check in Joomla, the user indeed is alraedy available as normal Joomla user-although he did not want to register!?

So right now my customer would not be able to change his adress as soon as he entered it once during the ordering process.

Am I doing smth wrong? Something misconfigured?
