Tax type shown in cart view is VAT and not correct Tax type

I cannot find a way to modify the display in the cart view for the tax added to an order. It always displays VAT and that is not correct for my country. It should display the name of the tax type.

Where can I fix this?

I have now added my language to Joomla 1.6 as Australian English and selected this as the default language.

When I add an item to the cart it still displays VAT on the page. How do I fix this and make it say GST like my tax name?

I have explained that I have changed the sites language to Australian English and set this in Joomshop, but it still displays VAT
