Hi, How can I offer free files downloads(zip file or mp3 file). When I give the price to the product 0.00. It walks me through the complete buying process and in the process it adds the tax and shipping as wel. I just want the customer to directly download the file if it offer as free. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks |

The process of buying a product is always the same, whether the product is free or not. But you can create a folder on your ftp (outside of Joomshopping) in which you put the free download products and link to in the productdescription. If it´s only temporalily, then you have to remove the link from the description and remove the file from the downloadlocation (folder with free downloads) after promotion ends. Just a workaround, hope it helps. Greetings Kale |

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate that. One more thing... - how to disable the "Shipping Cost" to be added into the total price for the downloadable files. Since there will be downloadable files so there won't be needing any shipping cost. Is there way or option available to disable the shipping cost only for the downloadable file ? thanks |

Hi guys, Same question here about no shipping costs for downloadable files only. I have looked at your example pics: http://www.webdesigner-profi.de/joomla-webdesign/shop/shippings/shipping-product.html but I am afraid that I don't understand how this works. It took me a while, but now I understand...this is a module which we have to pay for! Is there a manual as well for this module? Kind regards, Edze
