Attributes selection in frontend not refreshing after updates installed

Hi

I have recently updated joomshopping step by step from:

JoomShopping-update-3.6.1-3.7.0.zip then
JoomShopping-update-3.7.0-3.7.1.zip then
JoomShopping-update-3.7.1-3.7.2.zip
I then updated Joomla from 2.5.4 to 2.5.6

After which both websites no longer refresh the attributes in the frontend.

I had installed a backup prior to updating of the websites onto my local PC to test if there was a problem after a particular update, the attributes all work perfectly after updating all updates which suggests its not a bug.

Therefore the problem only occurs when on a live server.

I have cleared all cache's, system cache is not enabled in Joomla.

I am at a loss what to do, I could install the backup on the server but I want to keep the websites updated as much as possible.

I had changed the Additional Field 1 to Address Line 1 in this lang file in windows notepad not realising I had saved as UTF8 but with BOM, I opened the lang file in Dreamweaver / modify / Page properties / Title/Encoding where I had the option to save without BOM.

This has resolved the issue.
