Attribute select field loses selected value when mandadory field is missing (reset to default value)

Hello

If a product has select fields as attributes and I select a value there, my selection gets lost if I do not enter a value into another attribute which is required.

Example:

The shop has T-Shirts.

Each produkt has two attributes:
- a select field for selecting the color (blue, red and yellow - blue ist the default value)
- a textfield called Name (Free attribute type) for entering a text, this is a required field


If I select the color yellow but leave the text field empty, I get the message Please enter... (_JSHOP_PLEASE_ENTER_X).

If I look at the select field Color now, my selected value Yellow has gone and the field shows the default value (blue) instead.

I guess this is a bug...?
