Product picture on popup

Hi all,

I'd like to know how to make when I click on the image of my product, the image opens in a popup and not in a same window.

I saw on the forum that changes to files: product_default.php efactory.php but I do not know what to change it.

Note that I am a beginner, so if someone could give me the exact syntax and exactly where to place it in the corresponding php file I would be very grateful.
