View cart and view wishlist buttons/links not showing

I am using the default cart (no additional templates) but there is no way to view the cart or wishlist without adding something to it. How do I add a link to view the cart/wishlist?

Ok I can create menus and a module and have it show. Now I am having another problem. When in the shopping cart, if I click on the "Back to Shop" button I get a 404 error. The shop is located at www.mysite.com/troop-information/troop-gear but the back button wants to link to www.mysite.com/troop-information/troop-gear/category

Is there a way to change the back button to not add the /category? I have tried adding different menus to fix this but cannot get it to not show the 404 error.

This is interesting, it only gives the 404 error when logged into the site. If browsing the site as unregistered, then it all works fine. Also, if I manually go to the link even if logged in it works fine; the error only happens when clicking the "back to shop" link from either the cart or the wishlist. The link is exactly the same but it gives the error when clicking the back button. The link that gives the error (only from the back button and only when logged in) is http://www.bsatroop525.org/troop-information/troop-gear/category

Thanks for your help. It ended up being a conflict with the IM message box; for some reason they didn't get along. I disabled the message mailbox on the shopping cart pages and all works well.
