Error on Checkout Page

Hello. My client is getting an error on his site when clients go through the checkout process. Everything functions as it should right up untill the confirm the order. When they click on confirm order, the screen reloads. The order shows in the back end as cancelled and it does not go through. I need help with this as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your help in advance. This is a very time sensitive issue.

i cant use a different payment method. The clients merchant account can only work with authorize.net due to the fact that they have an auth.net immulator that uses the auth.net plugin. I had it up and working just fine on my demo server buit when i switched it over, it does not function.

I have set the correct login and password. The Post URL is going to the right place. But i am still getting the error.I have triple checked everything. I have even deleted the payment method, uploaded the payment method a second time and set the configuration with no changes. I am still getting the error.

i had to change the script. the post url had to point towards the merchant instead of auth.net. its an emmulator. the login and pass is correct. i have triple checked it with the merchant
