Related Products not working

Related Products not working

Hi, I can't get the related related products to function.
The check box is ticked in the 'shop function' configuration.
I just get the below message in the related products section of shop.

Aw: Related Products not working

OK great, I re-installed and fine.

But can I ask another question.
I can't get the 'free attributes' to work. (it worked in Joomla 1.5, now I have 2.5)

It shows up on my shopping page but without the text box/input field box. So users can't fill it in.

The free attribute is called 'Personal Message' - I have it checked in the configuration.
