Problem with quantity box

Great product by the way,but having an issue with this install. On the product page, when you enter a number in the quantity box, it inputs an odd character not the number.For example, I put the number 2 in the box, and it shows as an exclamation mark (!) Issue happens in the cart as well. Also does some crazy mathematics.

Sorry, but where in the css and what would I need to change. I don't see anything in the css that would change the keystrokes from characters to numbers.
