[BUG] Search friendly URLs, give continuous loop error

Fresh install, everything works fine. Love the new unlimited items option. However i've encountered a bug. I like to keep my site as search friendly as possible and as such i've enabled the top 3 options under global configuration. with mod rewrite and add extension to files everything works fine, but as soon as i enable "Search friendly URLS", the menu item (shop) goes into continous loop and firefox errors with the continuous page loop error.

version 3.0.0 does not have this problem.

thats the release history. ETA = Estimated Time of Arrival (in this case for 3.1.2 or whatever it will be) that fixes that bug

any update on when this loop bug will be fixed? It's really starting to annoy me i can't use SEO links, down right to the fact that i'm starting to consider stop using the shop all together till it's fixed. I'm already starting to look elsewhere

enable joomshopping: joomla goes into continuous loop

As i already said, yes the latest
joomla version 1.6.3 (latest)
joomshopping 3.1.3

you've got to try it out, setup a J1.6 installation, install JS 3.1.3, create a menu link to the shop, then enable SEO in global settings.

voila instant continuous loop

wich clearly indicates you know of the problem and would fix it. Thats now 2 months ago

i never said anything about page search bug. I said that if you enable SEO friendly links (Search Engine Optimization) in global settings joomla ends up in a file loop.

I fail to see where i mentioned "joomshopping page search".

i described it in my previous post and every post in this topic. If you enable search friendly URL's in joomla 1.6's global configuration while joomshopping is enabled the entire joomla site goes into a continuous loop. You cant even access the main index.php site

Demo procedure is in my previous post, pages: all of em since you can't even access the index when the plugin is active

and as i said in my very first post version 3.0.0 doesnt have that behavior, however the very first release after that did. So something you changed then screwed up the entire behavior

again, no. The MAIN index.php the one from joomla ITSELF, and since that one goes into a continuous loop the entire site is rendered inoperable with your plugin and joomla's SEO links enabled.

eg with joomla installed in root of site: http://www.mysite.com/index.php <= goes into continuous loop and firefox, IE, or whatever errors out

Guess with 1.6.3 it doesnt loop anymore however it still isnt fixed. The issue is now changed a little

jshopping + joomla SEO links active = error 404
jshopping + joomla SEO links inactive = working shop
