Diffuculty setting up shop - any step by step documentation?

1. Trying to add attributes to a product, basically I have a product that comes in 2 different lengths, so so I will just show the one product and have 2 attributes to it. Each length is a different prize. Is there any step by step documentation for this in English.

2. So I don't want the price to be visible on the first page, only when one of the attributes is selected.

3. Also Can I have 2 images displayed on thumbnail page?
