Change the order of products

Hi,

How can I change the order of products individually, i.e. to move products up or down in the way they are listed?

To clarify: I do not mean the "product sorting" in the configuration, but a way to change the order of how individual products are listed.

Your advise is most appreciated.

Sorry for opening this thread again, but while I have now figured out how re-ordering the product list is done in theory, the ordering won't change in practice.

I have tried both changing the order numbers for the items and to change the ordering by means of the arrows. But neither takes effect frontend, i.e. the list order remains the same despite the made changes.

It seems that the products are listed according to Product-ID's.

Are you able to advise what might be the cause of this?

Again thanks for your advise. Unfortunately, it doesn't change things. In fact, I already had "Categories" as the menu item type and "category or manufacturer or staticpage" as the "show" setting. Still, it doesn't change the ordering of the products. They still list according to "product ID's".

Any other suggestions?

Hi there,
I have the same problem, but magic didn´t work for me - not jet ;-)
I would like to show all products on one page. The products are sorted in different categories. So the sorting should go this way:
1st category with products sorted as in backend

When I choose Joomshopping Categories as menu item type, the categories are listed and when I klick on one category, the product sorting is fine.

I would like to avoid the category listing and show the products sorted as described above. How can I reach this?

Setting for category and product sorting in Configuration is "predefined".

Now I have all the products in one category.

I choose categories as menu item type and the categories are listet, what makes no sense.

Then I choose products as menu item type and the products are listet by ID, what makes no sense either.

So, how to sort them as sorted in backend?
