Hello I would like to create and order an item on the fly, passing the description and price from the frontend.
Even better if I can invoke it with Ajax and just let the user know the cart was updated.
This would allow sync with other components easily. I plan to integrate with both Zoo and EventList. Zoo is a CCK catalogue which many companies use for inventory and product presentation, but lacks e-commerce features; EventList is an event management component which allows most event-related features and lacks full order management and cart features.
Having a simple way to create an order would make it easy to use the cart and order management of JoomShopping and present the items listing with another, more "vertical", component.
It is also acceptable to maintain a list of linked items and dynamically create items in JoomShopping, but the administration could prove costly, I'm looking for a quick solution for now, going live in 2-3 weeks at most.
