Filter module not working

Filter module not working

Hi!
I'm using joomla 2.5.4 and joomshopping 3.6.1. I've had no problems at all with
neither the main component or the modules, except for the filter module.

I have everything set up and working, i install the "JoomShopping_filter-3.4.0" (i tried all its versions)
and it shows up empty. I can see the title of the module, but there is nothing else.

I think i might be doing something wrong, because everything else just worked out of the box for me.
The manufacturer and category filters integrated with the component work great, what am i doing wrong with this one? Compatibility issues maybe?

Any ideas?

I found another post here about this issue, but it turned out that the person was using the filter module
in a category list, therefore nothing to filer.

Aw: Filter module not working - WORKING BUT - not consistent with Jshopping Search

Why Filter module is not consistent with Jshopping Search, which loads the same variables ? That means when using Jshopping Search and select the variables and submit then there is no Filter module to continue filter the search.

Example: Clicking on a category loads the filter module with characteristic loaded to be selected and search gets filtered / modified, but Clicking Jshopping Search and selecting characteristics and then submit won't load Filter module, so the search can't be filtered / modified anymore.

I found it in a meantime. Please, be so kind and send suggestion to development team to write some short description about publishing module.

Modul works only with JoomShopping menu items.

I have the same problem.
Just want to rebuild a website (from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5) and never had problems with the filter. But in JoomShopping 3.7.2 it's not displayed anymore.

I tried everything so far and i have a lot of experience with joomla so i think it's maybe a bug in this module.

Any ideas how to display the filter?


EDIT:
in the meanwhile the filter is shown (right bottom), but as you can see in the screenshot there is only the price option.
Neither Headline nor Vendor nor Character is shown. And yes, they are all activated.

There is a real need of a solution otherwise i cant use this shop system and buy some payable addons (but till now joomshopping was one of the best systems). :/
Support? Help? What can i do else?

I know what you mean and i had this problem with an older shop system ;) but this is not the problem. Of course if have to navigate INTO a shop category. But the filters still the problem. (read edited post above)

i actually just want the Category to be shown, nothing else (i think the extended filter would be too much). So i tried to acitvate all of the options and deactivate and so on...
there is no existing manufacturer and no characteristic that could be shown, just two categories.

just the thing that there is no module headline shown is very strange.

ok i found out that there were some bugs in the template. thats the reason for the headline problem.

but the filter module still just displays price option and nothing else. so it has nothing to do with the template. :/
there must be any solution.
