Paypal not redirecting for testing
I'm trying to test PayPal, but I can't seem to get my cart to redirect to PayPal. I just get the "Thanks for your order" page. As far as settings go, under payments I've made the alias: pm_paypal. Under Config I have selected: Testmode: yes; PayPal payment email: I've entered my Test Account Email. I have also set up the IPN. Do I have the wrong test email? It is along the lines of: seller_01234567_biz@websiteurlhere.
I am having quite a struggle here. Any thoughts on what could be the problem? Thank you!

Aw: Paypal not redirecting for testing
Well I got it work for whatever reason, but now when I'm redirected to PayPal it gives me this error:
This recipient does not accept payments denominated in $. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency.
I've checked my PayPal preferences and the primary is USD. Do I have the wrong setting somewhere in Joomshopping?
Thank you again!

I already have USD as the ISO code under Currencies (see attached image). For the field that is labeled Code, I used the dollar sign so that on the front end my products would have the dollar sign in front of the price. Is that not what that field is for? A bit confused here...

The problem is the Code
Don't use USD but $ for Code
Code ISO is USD
Concerning the redirection to the thanks page, it is because you need to put in the config page
Option - Payments- Paypal
Put in Type : Other Website Payment
If you leave "default", it will redirect to Thanks page assuming that you handle the payment via paypal with a button from paypal cart !

I am having the same problem with "This recipient does not accept payments denominated in US. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency."
Have tried all variations of currency settings, right now
US Dollar, $, USD, 1.000000
We receive payments through Paypal from other sites without a problem.
Any other suggestions??

I hope that this can help someone because I was going CRAZY trying to figure it out.
PROBLEM: Enabled PayPal, set everything up and whenever the client completed checkout, it would just say "Thank you for your business."
SOLUTION: Go to
JoomShopping->Options->General->Type->EXTENDED (NOT SIMPLE)
Screenshot attached. This one little select box threw me off for 2 hours.

I fixed it with the help of paypal. The code needs to be in capitals USD and you need to change the paypal settings:
Profile/Selling Tools/Getting paid and managing my risk/Block payments tp
You may prevent accidental payments by blocking duplicate invoice IDs
No, allow multiple payments per invoice ID to accept
Apparently there is in issue with the way the invoice nrs are coded.
