Order Is not Created/Paid

Hi Support
First of all thanks for all your hard work! The shop is wonderful but now as I finally had a first order it does not work anymore.
My test order went through but then it stopped working.
This is what my customer said:
I had attempted to order the large grenadite circle using Paypal on February 9, 2012. On March 10, the payment was returned as it have not been accepted for 30 days. I was trying to reorder but now the site is telling me that my maximum order quantity in my cart is 0.

The log is empty.

Questions
1. What is wrong? See attachment for config/set-up.

2. Paypal continue as a guest
It seems that a shopper now has to sign up for an account with a username/password?

3. Shopper Logout
I now get an error when login out as a shopper
onlineshopping/index.php/checkout/step5.html
see print screen

thanks so much for your help!
Daniela

Hi,

first you should upgrade your Joomla to Version 2.5.3 because of critical security issues. Do the same with your JShopping component (3.5.1). Then try again. Maybe the problem is solved with the updates automatically.

Greetings SW

The best way to check what your design will look like after updating, is to setup a local copy of your site on your computer.

To do that, do the following:

1. Install XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/index.html)
2. Export your Database from your Webspace with phpmyadmin
3. Download via FTP all Files from your Webspace
4. Import Database with phpmyadmin on your local system
5. Save your files from FTP in folder htdocs
6. Change configuration.php that it matches the configuration of your local installation.

With this local system you can easily check every change before making the change on your live system.

Alternatively you can make a backup of your site with Akeeba Backup. Then make the changes on your live system and when something goes wrong, you can restore the site.

But the best way is always to have a development system on your local computer.

Greetings

Aw: Order Is not Created/Paid

Hi Everybody
I have not gotten any further :-(
As I am not a php programmer I have no clue about how to run XAMPP

What I did now was trying to up-date
1.Update JoomShopping: 3.2.7 to 3.5.1

Nothing happened, it still says I am runing 3.2.7
I went to the component and clicked on 'install & update'....

Really lost here... who can help?

Ok that helped a bit. Do I really have to upload 9 changes/zip files?

As I have never done this and I am really worried to do it wrong, I added a test site. And it has overwritten quite some things as it seems the module has a different name... ?

So far I have not been able to figure out how to make a back-up. Even with Akeeba Backup.... :-(

Thanks everybody for your help! I am quite new to updates...

Aw: Order Is not Created/Paid

Have done everything:
- updated JoomShopping to Version 3.6.0
- updated Joomla to 2.5

But there is still no order created in the back-end.
Look at my print screen, it says:
order # 22 has been charged
next order will be #23

but the order is not created in the admin area.

Please help.....
Aw: Order Is not Created/Paid

I enabled:
- Use SSL: Y
- Verify data after PayPal RETURN: N

then made an other booking.

Nothing, no order shows up......

Ok I think I am getting there but need help, please..... Anyone know the issue?
I can not upload a header/footer image to the site, it is not saving.

And if I click on the 'preview pdf' I am getting this error:
403: Forbidden
This error message is generated when the web server is trying to access a file that does not exist or has been configured incorrectly

Looks like something is wrong with the folder permissions. Folders need chmod 755 and files need 644.

Hi SW
thanks for all your help so far.
Getting there, but the orders have all status 'not finished'. What problem is that?

And the header image on the pdf is huge! How can I change that?
