Hallo,

Hilfe! The tax cost in my shopping cart always shows .83, no matter the price of goods. I've set the tax to calculate when a customer selects a particular country (United States-within Arizona). The tax rate for this country is 9.05%, but the tax calculated does not change from the .83 cents.

I'm having the same issue. There is tax for the state of Iowa (7%) but everywhere else, there isn't tax for products sold on the internet.

I have 2 categories: products and courses
The course does not get taxed - I set up a tax called "Course Sales Tax". when I set it up, I entered 0 in the text box for value. then i set up the extended tax rule to include all the countries that the tax value is 0

The products only get taxed if the person lives in Iowa (state the company is located in) I have another tax set up called "Product Sales Tax" and in the value tax box I entered 0. In the extended rules, I have one rule that says 7% tax if you live in Iowa.

The product tax codes is what is having problems. I have purchased your addon that allows me to select Iowa.

The problem is, the tax won't change. As I'm testing the shopping cart, I put in an address in Iowa and I'm charged tax. But when I put in an address in Minnesota, the tax is still there. The system seems to be remembering what I did last. I have cleared my cache, but it's still a problem.

Danke, I deleted the #2 tax and created two extended tax rates (United States within Arizona, and United States outside Arizona + all other countries). The problem is the tax calculated for the United States within Arizona is not correct. Screen shot shows tax of $2.32, but it should be $2.53 for tax rate of 9.05%.

Danke! It's working now! I changed both the settings for displaying prices (admin area and front end) in the General configuration and the tax rate is now calculating correctly!

The tax is being added to the total including shipping. Is there a setting where the tax only applies to the product price and not the shipping?

Let's say my product is 10 $ and shipping is 1 $

when i put tax 10% it makes
product 11 $ and shipping 1.1$, but i need tax applied only on product
it should be
product 11$ and shipping 1$ (not 1.1$)
