Please help!? Paypal Orders 'Not Finished'

Greetings all!
I have the same problem a lot of people seem to be having with Paypal orders locked at 'not finished' after
returning to the site from paypal.

I have been looking everywhere on the forum but can't find a way to fix this problem.

I updated JoomShopping-update-3.9.0-3.10.0 but this made no difference.

Settings are j2.5.6
Paypal Extended (Simple does not open paypal).

Verify data after PayPal RETURN No
Use SSL Yes
Overriding Addresses No

I have set paypal return address to http://viciousvixen.com/index.php?option=com_jshopping&controller=checkout&task=step7&act=notify&js_paymentclass=pm_paypal&no_lang=1

The orders are still 'not finished' :(

If anyone can please help it would be much appreciated!
I have used so many different shopping carts but really like joomshopping and hope to use it with future clients.

Please help get this resolved, i too have wasted hours going through forums and everyone who has this issue just seems to disappear. Love the product just need this issue resolved.

Thanks for the link, converted everything to English and checked everything there, all is configured the same, here's what the logs give me, status is still Pending (Not Finished), seems like all the info is getting to Joomshopping but it's just not processing it:

This is currently running on a test site so it doesn't have a valid certificate for the site, so SSL is turned off.

However i'm not sure about the relevance of this as the payment details have clearly been received by Joomshopping, it just hasn't processed it

I am having similar problems ... paypal stopped completing orders and sending confirmation emails at the beginning of October so I upgraded from 3.3.2 to 3.11.2 but still have problems.

The site is hosted on a shared server so there is no SSL certificate for the site. Is there a reason why SSL is now a requirement for the completion of paypal orders ?

As far as I can see, logs are enables (Configuration->General Save info to log file ticked and Save info payment to log file ticked).

When reviewing the logs ... error.log and payment.log are empty.

paymentdata.log contains records a recent failed entry (I have removed the email addresses for security reasons)...

Thank you for your previous help.

I had a quick look at the check out code and realised that I needed to set the 'Use SSL' flag and that my site doesn't need an ssl certificate for this setting to have an effect.

The previous http error was caused by trying to connect to paypal on an unsecured port.
