Hello webdesigner,

since 1.1.2015 (EU countries) the tax rates for electronic services could be different, depend on the address of the buyer, NOT of the seller / shop owner.(within b2c)

Case:
Shop owner (germany) sells products as normal product and as a download.
He sells within germany and to some EU countries.
For the same download-article the taxes of the countries are different.

I think, in this time it is not possible to sell these products with the right taxes.
This is problem, because it is not legal.
This is not a german, it is a EU problem.

The problem is:
The taxes of these products must depend on countries.


Maybe it is a solution to improve the addon attribute tax.

Now it is possible, to allocate taxes for different countries (new tax rules =Verlängert Regel Steuer)

(I can not test the addon attribute tax, I do not have this addon.)

I can only look at your shop-screenshot.
An I see, it is only possible to set a fix tax rate.
An this fix tax rate is the problem.
Better: Look at my screenshot above.

With a fix tax rate we can not set flexible tax rates for different countries.
The law is a little bit crazy, but a law.....
Til 31.12.2014 it was enough to have one tax rate for download products - the tax rate of the shop-owner-country.
But now, we need the tax rates of the buyer/customer.(For download products b2c EU-countries)

You need an detail example?

with this law we have for example for germany, italy and poland 6 different tax rates for Books.
3 for print versions and 3 for e-books.
(example: shop in germany, b2c)

I think the solution could be this: (choose the tax rates from options-tax-extended rules)
