Hello again, You can find this info about Gift certificates or Gift cards in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gift_card In USA is very common buying gift certificates to send a friend from an ecommerce site. But how does it work? I have installed the addon, activated the plugins, clicked yes at "Product use as Gift Certificate". Where do the customer have the possibility to choose to buy "gift certificate"? Where/how does the "certificate" show up/delivers to the customer? For the moment I feel quite stupid since I don´t understand how the addon works. Best regards, Marten

Now I get it to work but I have one suggestion for future versions. I would be useful to have the possibilty to have the name of the product at the gift certificate together/or instead of the price/value. Marten |

Dear Ladies an Gentlemen, I've installed these plug-in and it's activated. But how does it work. I'm very sorry for this question. I have made a new product an classified as "Gift Certificate". Under my understanding, now the product will be send as a coupon via EMail? The second, there is no entry under Options -> Coupons... after purchasing. Thank you for yor help. Roland

Sorry for my delayed answer! I think the best and easiest solution for my earlier suggestion would be an opertunity to choose between to have price or the name of the product shown on the certificate. Sometimes you want to buy a gift certificate for a ceartin product with out the price to be shown for the reciver. Another suggestion is to have the possibilty to choose what picture to use for the certificate for each product. Thanks for à godo product! |
