Authorize.net payment regenerating orders

I built an e-commerce website for a clients a few months ago, and they are using the authorize.net payment module.

All was working seamlessly, until a couple days ago, it started resubmitting old orders (about 150 of them) and re-charging clients credit cards. No credit card information is stored on the server, so I'm not sure how this happened.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this? Has anyone else had this problem?

Orders that were placed and completed in May were automatically duplicated and the customers cards were charged again in June. The orders themselves were not duplicated, just charged again.
