Auction Question

I recently bought the Auction extension and have a few questions:

- when assigning the "shop menu" to Auction menu it doesn't apply it's self to the items like it does for regular shop items... is this something I've done incorrectly?

- after placing a bid where can I set the redirect to take them back to the auction items listings?

Thank you!
Kelsie

Aw: Auction Question

Here's a few screen shots. First two are the auction, the listing has our menu as expected on the sidebar, but it doesn't go to the items. The second two are our general shop in which the menu does appear on the items.

Also the auction the bidder name appears last, first, is there a way to change it to First, Last?

I have no screenshots for my second question about the redirect after bidding, currently it redirects to the item, but the "back" button on the item doesn't work to take visitors to the items list, and without the menu it's cumbersome to get back to the auction listing.

Aw: Auction Question

Yes, all items that are auction items are enabled and appear fine. It's just that the menu modules are not transferring to the item pages only showing in the listing pages.

1. we need the menu module to appear on the item pages for auction items in the sidebar.
2. bidder name should be first name last name instead of last name first name on the item page
3. Is there a way to edit the text on the bid emails sent to the bidders and admin.

1. Joomla module configuration

2. Change file
components\com_jshopping\models\jshopauction.php
change row
$actual_auction->name = $actual_auction->l_name . ' ' . $actual_auction->f_name;
to
$actual_auction->name = $actual_auction->f_name . ' ' . $actual_auction->l_name;

3. components\com_jshopping\templates\addons\jshopauction\notify_new_bid.php

Aw: Auction Question

Thank you!

One last question. So in testing the auction item after the auction ends nothing happens - there's no email to notify the winner that went out, or to the admin to let them know. I went in to the backend to see and clicked "finished" which seems to have done nothing but removed it from the auction backend.

Have I done something wrong?

Yes that was what I was expecting, but I'm the administrator of the store and never received that email, nor did my tester who was helping me that placed the winning bid.
