How do I add options for a product

Here is an example. I am selling Chocolates. I offer Homemade Chocoloate in Milk, Dark, or Mixed.

The price is same for all three. Can this just be a drop down on the product page? How would I do that?

Similarly, there may be option for 8oz., 16 oz., or 32 oz. boxes. The pricing will be different depending on the selection.

I suppose I could create the category and then just make each option a separate product but wanted to see if there is an easier way.
