? How to set up "Calculate for weight/postal code" addon

I have purchased the addon "Calculate for weight/postal code" but am confused on how to set it up so that it calculates the postage based on the number of items in the cart. In the Options I have set up a pricing for the first item and set it for "Count from" = 1 & "Count to" = 1. I want the the shipping to be a set price of $6.50 for the first item and $1.75 for each item over and above the first item. I do not see where to make this work from the cart count not the product count.

This how I am understanding how the count function for shipping works. I have shown my settings for shipping setting in the included image. $6.50 for the first item... and $1.75 additional for each item after that. The results in the store show shipping $0.00 for three items... (I will post that image in my next message). Using these settings it showed the correct shipping cost of $6.50 for one item.

I downloaded and installed the new version you stated and I am still not able to make it work. I just put 3 items in my shopping cart and it only shows $1.75 for shipping. (one of the items is a downloadable file (versus a paper copy) which was selected from the attributes & should should not have shipping & handling associated with it) ..... Which leads to another question ... what is the process to keep shipping from showing for an item in the shopping cart that is a downloadable file?

It is not working. In order to work through the problem, I have kept only 2 items in my shopping cart. 1 item is to ship & the second item is a download (should not be shipping for this item.... but even if it was calculating shipping for 2 items, the total is wrong.) The shipping SHOULD be only $6.50 because only one item gets shipped, but the download does not. Since I am not sure how to keep download items from having shipping costs... let us assume that the second item in the cart also would get shipping... the total should be $8.25 for the two items ($6.50 base shipping + $1.75 for the second item = $8.25. I have included an image of my shopping cart here, and will post my setting for the addon and shipping in the following replies.

OK, I see how you made that happen. The price for shipping is correct now for two items.

One of the items in the cart is a PDF file for download. A file should not be charged shipping. How do I deal with not having shipping charges for download items?

Oh no, this could be a problem. It is nice that Joomshopping can do both item types for a store, but not good that it must be either/or. Can we talk about what it would take for development to make this function possible? Obviously it may be better to discuss those details off the forum. I need to contact my client to discuss options with them. I need to get their website operational, as it is now a couple of days overdue. Please contact me so we can discuss details.
