Joomshopping Addons: Melting discount

A discount that creates urgency — the customer sees a table with the discount schedule by date right on the product page: how big the discount is now, how big it will be tomorrow and when the campaign ends, which nudges them to buy sooner.

Features

• An unlimited number of discount periods with a start/end date and a discount percentage (melting_dsc_start, melting_dsc_end, melting_discount_value)
• Every discount can be restricted to a list of categories and/or a list of specific products
• Three display modes for the schedule table on the product page: do not show / show all discounts / show active ones only / show only the one currently applied (display_mode)
• Selection mode for the active discount when periods overlap — the smallest or the largest discount (use_mode)
• Option to hide the old (struck-through) price (hide_old_price) and an option to show the discounted price right in the schedule table (show_discount_prices)
• The discount is applied automatically in the product price calculation, including dependent attributes and surcharges (onCalculatePriceProduct), and in the product list (onBeforeDisplayProductList)
• ⚠️ Requires a licence key bound to the domain (the key cannot be moved to another domain) — without it the plugin shows the warning "Please enter license key (Melting discount)" and no discounts are applied

Main settings

• What discounts to show on the product page — which discounts to show on the product page: none (None), all (All), all active ones (All active) or only a single active one (One active)
• Which discount to use for price calculation — which discount to apply when calculating the price: the one most profitable for the seller (Most profitable for seller) or for the customer (Most profitable for customer)
• Hide old price — hide the old price
• Show discount prices — show the discounted prices in the discount table
• The discount rules are set up separately: Start / End of discount, Initial discount value and Latest discount value, How many days to reduce the discount and How much to reduce the discount, plus the conditions "discount when buying N items" and "discount depending on the stock left"
