Joomshopping Addons: Multi Variant Link

Multi Variant Link connects separate JoomShopping products by shared attributes so customers can switch between product variants (for example, colors or sizes) without leaving the product page.

Important:

Need use Dependent attribute.
You must use custom (product) attributes to create the variant links.

How it works:

Each product keeps its own product record in JoomShopping.
Multi Variant Link creates a relationship between those products by using a common attribute (for example, Color).
On the product page the attribute will show all linked values; selecting a value redirects the visitor to the corresponding product (the chosen variant).

Example (real-world):

Products before linking:
- Samsung Galaxy A26 5G 6/128GB Black
- Samsung Galaxy A26 5G 6/128GB Mint
- Samsung Galaxy A26 5G 6/128GB White

Without the addon these are three independent products — no direct switching between colors.
After using Multi Variant Link, a single attribute (e.g. Color) appears on each product with three values: Black, Mint, White. Choosing a value navigates to that product.

How to set up (quick steps):

1) Create an attribute (for example, Color) and add it to each product you want to link.
2) In the Multi Variant Link addon, create a new link relationship.
3) Select the products that should be part of this variant group.
4) Save the link — the selected products will now show the shared attribute with all variant values, and selecting a value will redirect to the matched product.

Benefits:

Keeps each variant as a separate product (for inventory, SKUs, pricing) while giving customers an easy way to switch variants.
Improves user experience by allowing quick navigation between colors, sizes or other variant dimensions.
Simple to configure — works with existing attributes.

Notes & recommendations:

Make sure the attribute name is consistent across all products you want to link (e.g., all use Color, not mixed names).
Use this addon when you prefer separate product entries (different images, stock, or prices) but want seamless variant switching on the storefront.
Test links after creation to confirm correct redirects and attribute value order.
