Joomshopping Addons: Product price discount

Bulk repricing of the catalogue in a couple of clicks — set the discount percentage once and apply it to hundreds of products at once together with all their paid attributes, without recalculating the prices by hand.

Features

• Bulk application of a percentage discount to the selected products, with a preview of the list before it is applied
• A discount for a single product right in the product edit page in the admin panel — the “Price discount (%)” field with an instant preview of the new price
• Product selection filters: publication status, presence/absence of an old price, categories (with categories excluded), manufacturers (with manufacturers excluded), inclusion/exclusion of particular product IDs
• Automatic recalculation of the price of all the product's dependent attributes (#__jshopping_products_attr) when the discount is applied, as well as an update of the product's minimum price (min_price)
• Two discount calculation modes: from the "old price / current price" or from the "purchase price / old price / current price" (calc_discount)
• An additional function — bulk update of the discount text in the product description (replacing mentions such as "10% скидка / % off / % sparen / % de remise" with the new percentage in several languages)
• A log file of all the price recalculation operations (price_disc_attr.log) — for verifying and debugging the bulk changes

How it works

1. Single Product Discount For example, if a product price is 100$ and you set a 10% discount:

• New product price: 90$
• Old product price: 100$

2. Bulk Product Discount Search and filter the required products, check them in the list, set the desired discount — and all the prices are updated in one click.

• Published
• Product price (with old price / without old price)
• Category
• Manufacturer
• Exclude Category (Example: 1,2,3)
• Exclude Manufacturer (Example: 1,2,3)
• Exclude Product (Example: 1,2,3)
• Product (Example: 1,2,3)

Main settings

• Calc discount — how the discount for the attributes is calculated: from the product's base price or from the price including the attribute surcharge
