Joomshopping Payments: Monobank

Accept payments via monobank (mono Acquiring) — card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments on the bank's secure page.

The addon adds monobank as a payment method in JoomShopping. Once the order is placed, the shop creates an invoice in monobank and redirects the customer to the bank's page. monobank reports the result by a server-side call, the shop then asks the bank for the state of the invoice, compares it with the order and only then sets the order to paid.

Features

• Automatic creation of the invoice in monobank and redirect of the customer to the payment page immediately after the order is placed
• Every payment method of the monobank page: bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
• Server-side payment verification by a request to the monobank API — the order is confirmed by the bank's data, not by the customer returning in the browser
• The bank's notification (webHook) arrives on every change of the payment state
• The order items are passed into the invoice — the customer sees in the bank's app what they are paying for
• The monobank invoice identifier is stored with the order — payments are easy to match with orders
• Automatic order status change based on the payment result: separate statuses for successful, pending and failed payments — each selected from your shop's status list
• Clear error messages: an empty or invalid token, an unavailable API, a missing payment link — everything is written to the shop log paymentdata.log together with the order number
• The webHookUrl and Redirect URL addresses are shown right in the payment method settings

Settings

• Client token — the monobank merchant token (mono Acquiring)
• Transaction end status — order status on a successful payment
• Transaction pending status — order status while the payment is being processed
• Transaction failed status — order status on a failed payment

Technical notes

• An active mono Acquiring service and a merchant token issued by the bank are required
• The order currency must exist in the shop with its numeric currency code filled in — this code is passed to monobank
• Your shop must be reachable by the monobank servers from the outside, not protected by a password or restricted by IP — otherwise payment notifications will not arrive
• The PHP cURL extension must be enabled on the server
