Joomshopping Addons: Ask a question about product

Don't lose a customer who still has questions — an "Ask a question" button (or "Ask a price" / "Notify me when available") opens a pop-up form right on the product page and in the product list, with no detour to a separate contact page.

Features

• Three modes, set globally for the addon: a plain question about the product, a price request (the button replaces the price and the "Add to cart" button when the price is 0 or price display is switched off) and an offer request / back-in-stock notice (the button appears only while the product is out of stock)
• The form opens in a modal window on the product page and as an AJAX modal in the product list
• Flexible form fields — username, name, e-mail, phone — each one can be switched on or off and made mandatory individually
• Spam protection: a simple image captcha or Google reCAPTCHA v3 (with public and secret key settings)
• Access to the form can be limited to registered users only (access)
• The button can be hidden for an individual product (a checkbox in the product edit form) or hidden in the product list entirely
• Configurable button position in the product list and sender address for the e-mails (sender_email)
• Enquiries are stored in the database and available in a dedicated section of the JoomShopping admin panel for review and processing

Main settings

• Type ask — operating mode:
  • Ask a question — a question about the product
  • Ask a price — a price request: the button appears for products with a price of 0
  • Offer — offer request / back-in-stock notice: the button appears for products with zero stock
• Use captcha — none, simple captcha or reCAPTCHA; for reCAPTCHA set reCAPTCHA v3 public key and secret key
• Access — the form is available to everyone (Public) or to registered users only (Registered)
• Fields — the form fields Username, Name, Email, Phone: each is enabled separately and made mandatory separately
• Hide button for product list — hide the button in the product list
• Button position in product list — position of the button in the product list
• Sender email — sender address for the enquiry e-mails
