Diagnostics and automatic repair of the JoomShopping database structure — it finds missing tables, missing columns and columns with a wrong data type and lets you fix them with one click right from the backend.

Features

  • Compares the real structure of the #__jshopping_* tables in the database with the reference description from the XML files (components/com_jshopping/files/check_db/v_5/*.xml), selected according to the current JoomShopping version (jshopping.xml)
  • Detects three kinds of problem: missing tables (a CREATE TABLE with the full set of columns, keys and indexes is prepared), missing columns (an ALTER TABLE ... ADD is prepared), columns with a wrong type (an ALTER TABLE ... CHANGE is prepared)
  • Takes multilingual columns (multilang) into account — the presence of a column is checked for every active site language separately
  • A special check of the dynamic columns: independent product attributes (attr_) and additional product fields (extra_field_), respecting their real type (int/varchar)
  • The list of detected discrepancies is displayed as a table with checkboxes — the administrator chooses which fixes to apply and runs them by saving the form
