Joomshopping Addons: DayDeal products

A clear countdown for products with a limited display period — turn the standard JoomShopping product publishing dates into a prominent "time left: HH:MM:SS" timer that encourages buying while the offer is active.

Features

• Uses the standard JoomShopping product fields product_date_start/product_date_end/product_use_date — no separate table and no new fields are created
• The product is published/unpublished automatically by the dates on every load of the product list (onBeforeLoadProductList)
• An AJAX countdown timer with a configurable refresh interval (daydeal_ajax_update, 10000 ms by default), displayed both in the product list and on the individual product page
• Optionally shows days in the countdown (not only hours/minutes/seconds) with a configurable "from/to" date format (show_day, show_date_from_to, date_format)
• The explanatory text before the timer can be switched on or off (show_text)

Main settings

There is no separate settings page — the deal of the day and the validity of the offer are defined on the product page, and the output is configured in the module parameters
