Joomshopping Addons: Gift Certificat

Sell gift certificates like ordinary products — the customer pays for a "certificate product" in your shop, and the system automatically creates a unique discount coupon and sends it to the recipient by e-mail as a nicely designed image.

Features

• Any product can be marked with the "use as a gift certificate" flag — the value is either taken from the product price or entered manually (a fixed amount)
• A configurable certificate validity in days — the coupon automatically gets an expiry date
• The unique coupon code is generated automatically (guaranteed uniqueness with collision protection; the code is made longer if needed)
• The certificate image is generated on the fly through GD/TTF: the value, the code, the validity and a free text are placed on a background image at the defined coordinates and font size (the position and size of every element are configured in the plugin parameters)
• The certificate coupon is sent as an attachment (PNG) to the customer's e-mail right after the order status changes to "paid" (or on checkout step 5); the certificate text is also added to the order details in the backend and to the order confirmation e-mail
• A "cumulative value" mode — when several certificate units are bought, either one coupon for the total amount or a separate coupon per unit can be issued
• The data about the issued certificates is stored in the order and available for viewing/downloading the image again from the order history

Main settings

There is no separate settings page — the values and the design of the certificates are defined as ordinary JoomShopping products
