Joomshopping Addons: Registration user to group

Let the customer choose their user group (retail, wholesale, partner, etc.) right on the registration form — and assign the matching Joomla access groups automatically, without manual work for the administrator.

Features

• A dropdown with the JoomShopping user groups is added to the registration form and, optionally, to the account edit form (controlled by the usergroup_in_edit_data parameter)
• The selected group is applied both when the user is created and when the profile is saved later
• The administrator maps every JoomShopping user group to one or several Joomla access groups — the mapping is applied automatically at registration through the system hook that saves the Joomla user data

Main settings

• Usergroup in edit data — allow the customer to change their group in the customer account
• Select usergroup in Joomla — for every JoomShopping customer group the corresponding Joomla user groups are chosen, which the customer is put into at registration
