Joomshopping Addons: Shared warehouse for attributes

One stock level for all packaging variants of a product — one-litre, five-litre and ten-litre containers out of a single 100-litre barrel: sell different variants of one product from a shared stock pool instead of maintaining a separate stock level for every variant.

Features

• Enabled per product with the "use shared attribute stock" checkbox (use_attribute_stock)
• Every attribute value is given a "weight" in units of the shared stock (stock_value) — 1, 5 and 10 litres for three different container sizes, for example
• The shared product stock (attribute_stock) is decreased/increased automatically when an order is placed or cancelled, taking the selected packaging and the quantity into account
• The stock is checked when adding to the cart, when updating the cart and at the checkout — with an "out of stock" error if more is requested in total than is available
• In the administrator's product list and on the shop front the shared attribute stock is shown, not the quantity of the product itself
• Storage: new attribute_stock, use_attribute_stock fields in #__jshopping_products and stock_value in #__jshopping_attr_values
