Joomshopping Addons: States tax

Accurate tax not only by country but also by region — extend the standard JoomShopping tax rules down to the state/province level, so that the shop calculates the tax correctly where the rates differ within one country.

Features

• Extends the JoomShopping extended tax rules (#__jshopping_taxes_ext, the zones_states field) — a rule can be limited not just to a country but to particular regions (states/provinces) within it
• The logic is attached through the onAfterGetAllTaxesRowsext hook — it overrides the base tax rate if the customer's country and region (or those of the delivery address, when the tax_on_delivery_address setting is on) match the rule
• A separate rate for legal entities: if the customer has a tax number (or the ext_tax_rule_for mode by customer type is on), the firma_tax rate is applied instead of the ordinary tax
• A rule with no regions specified applies to the whole country — country-wide and regional rates can be combined
• ⚠️ Requires the previously installed States addon (Addon States, version ≥3.5.1) — it is declared as a dependency in the addon installer itself
