Joomshopping Modules: Product list ajax

A compact product showcase without a single page reload — the module turns bulky product cards into a handy table with a search field, category tabs, sorting by clicking a column header and pagination that always works through AJAX.

Features

• A product list of one or several categories (category_id, comma separated) — or category switching tabs when more than one is given
• A search field for the product name (show_search) with live filtering as you type
• Additional product characteristics shown as separate sortable table columns (ch_id — characteristic IDs, comma separated); an individual set of columns can be defined per category in components/com_jshopping/config/mod_prodlist.php (the category_extra_fields array)
• A sortable manufacturer column (show_manufacturer)
• Sorting by clicking any column header (name, characteristic, manufacturer, stock) — like an ordinary Joomla table, but with the result loaded via AJAX
• A rows-per-page selector (show_list_limit) and the standard JoomShopping AJAX pagination
• An availability indicator (a green or grey circle); clicking a row opens the product page
• Support for alternative module layouts (the standard Joomla modulelayout field)

Technical details

• The product list and every action (search, sorting, pagination, category switching) go through the module's own AJAX controller md_prod_list, which uses the standard JoomShopping product list model (filters, limits and sorting are kept in the user session, as in the standard search)

Main settings

• Show manufacturer — show the manufacturer
• Show search — a search field above the list
• Show list limit — a selector for the number of products per page
