Joomshopping Plugins: Content Plugin Insert Category

A shop category inside an ordinary Joomla article — with one short code. The plugin replaces the code inserted into the text with a JoomShopping category block: image, name, short description and a link to the category.

That turns an article, a landing page or a news item into an entry point to your catalogue, without rewriting the template.

Features

• Insert a single category or a whole list of categories into any Joomla article
• The category image, name, short description and link are shown; for a category without an image the shop's standard placeholder is used
• The block uses the same classes and styles as the shop's own category lists — the look matches the catalogue
• Category publishing and access levels are respected: an unpublished or restricted category will not appear in the article
• Texts are shown in the language of the current site version
