Joomshopping Plugins: Image attribute from product

The customer picks a variant by the product image, not by its name. The plugin puts the image of the linked product into the attribute value list — instead of abstract text.

When a product variant is a separate product with its own photo (a different colour, a different model, a different fabric pattern), it is easier for the customer to choose with their eyes. Choosing by image is noticeably faster and more accurate than by a text label.

Features

• A thumbnail of the linked product is shown next to the attribute value
• If the attribute value has its own image, that one is used
• The value name stays next to the image — it is clear what exactly is selected
• The surcharge for the variant is shown next to it, according to the shop settings
• Values are rendered as radio buttons, vertically or horizontally — following the JoomShopping setting

Warning

Works with attributes of type radio. No images are inserted for dropdown lists.
