Joomshopping Plugins: Limit item in cart

Only a limited number of positions can go into the cart. The plugin prevents adding more than the configured number of distinct products to the cart.

Needed wherever an order is single by nature: subscriptions, tours, services, rentals, made-to-order goods. The quantity of each position is not limited — the number of different products is.

Features

• A limit on the number of positions (distinct products) in the cart
• When the customer tries to add one position too many, they see a clear message and stay on the product page
• The quantity of a single product is not limited
• Texts are translated: English, German, Russian

Main settings

The settings are in Plugins → Limit item in cart:

• Limit item in cart — the maximum number of positions in the cart. Default 1

Example

A value of 1 — the client can buy only 1 product, in any quantity.
