Joomshopping Plugins: No save full image product

The shop stops piling up unnecessary gigabytes on disk. The plugin deletes the full-size copy of a product image right after saving — only the working sizes remain in the shop.

For every product picture JoomShopping stores three files: the thumbnail, the main image and the full-size original. If click-to-zoom is not used in your shop, the originals just take up space — on large catalogues that means tens of gigabytes and bloated backups.

Nothing to configure — it works as soon as the plugin is enabled.

Warning

The deletion is irreversible: full-size copies of new images are not kept. Only enable the plugin if product image zoom is not used in your shop.
