Joomshopping Plugins: Open graph

A product link in a social network looks like a proper card, not a bare address. The plugin sets correct Open Graph and Twitter Card tags on JoomShopping product, category and vendor pages.

When you or a customer share a link on Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp or Twitter, a preview appears instead of a cryptic URL: a large image, the title and the description. Links like that get opened noticeably more often.

• Open Graph tags on the product page: title, description, image, address, language, site name
• Open Graph tags on the category page: title, description, category image, address
• Open Graph tags on the vendor page
• A Twitter Card of type summary_large_image with a large product or category image
• The description uses the meta description of the product or category, falling back to the short description if it is empty
• HTML is stripped from the description automatically — only clean text goes into the tags
• The tag language matches the current language version of the site
