Joomshopping Addons: Shared warehouse for attributes

Imagine you are selling a 100-liter barrel of oil.

You want to offer this product in different package sizes: 1L, 5L, and 10L.

These package sizes are configured as independent attributes.
In the attribute values, you should set: 1, 5, and 10 (screenshot 3).

Product Settings:

Use a shared warehouse for attributes: Yes

General stock: 100 (This means you have 100 liters in total)

How it works:

Now, when a customer selects a variant (e.g., 10L), the system calculates the available quantity based on the general stock and the selected attribute value.

For example:

If a customer wants 1x 10L — system checks if 10 liters are available → OK
If a customer wants 3x 5L — system checks if 15 liters are available → OK
If a customer wants 50x 1L — system checks if 50 liters are available → OK
If a customer wants 11x 10L — system checks if 110 liters are available → Not enough stock (only 100L available)

This approach is ideal for products sold in different portions from a common stock.
